Primarily for the display controller market, the Ether Podule can be used with Wall Podules or Podnet panels and can be linked to both the display and any 3rd party router via the RS232 ports. When used with Screen, XVGA and Video Podules a firmware version allows auto configuration of the Podnet network for ease of use.

Ethernet control is optimised for display control and monitoring with the ability to monitor lamp life using the internal non-volatile timer, so it is adaptable to all projectors. You can log onto individual units using a browser for control and system integrity monitoring (via a password) or use our software application to monitor multiple rooms and sites. Security loops & sounders are also supported.

The Ether Podule features include; two RS232 bi-directional ports with pass through ability, two digital inputs and two open collector outputs for connection to external switches, PIR's, relays and indicators as well as PodNet and Ethernet

Being an Ikon product, it is optimised for use with our own range of controllers, but will work quite happily with a mix of other manufacturers controllers, as long as they are RS232 operated, allowing easy retrofit and upgrade to existing systems.
